Life in the Premier League is increasingly becoming a nightmare for Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi and his West Brom teammates.
On Sunday at their home ground at the Hawthorns, the Baggies were condemned to another heavy defeat, this time by high-flying Crytstal Palace.
Ajayi played for the entire 90 minutes but could do little as West Brom were condemned to a 5-1 defeat by Palace.
Wilfred Zaha and Christian Benteke scored twice for Palace, while Darnell Furlong also conceded an own goal.
Conor Gallagher was on target for West Brom’s solitary goal in Sunday’s game.
West Brom’s bad case was made worse when they were reduced to 10-men in the 34th minute when Matheus Pereira was controversially sent off for violent conduct.
Ajayi has made 10 league appearances for the Baggies this season.
West Brom moved down into 19th position on goal difference, while Crystal Palace are now in 11th with 16 points.
